Look at the Dump they claim I made this man live in, (1547 N 19th Street, Omaha, Nebraska) oh they did not show any picture in the Weird Herald, but why?

See above – This is what I started with, I believed it was a good buy because it was walking distance from the – Qwest/CenturyLink Center, and now also the Ameritrade Park, Baseball Field.

This is the “hole”, 100% fixed up inside and out, that I made this poor helpless (26 year old x-penitentiary guest for 7+ years) man live in, or so says the Omaha Weird Herald.

The City “took” my lot, and the whole block also, and built all new homes on it and are now selling them for a huge profit.

One could say the City left me a-lot.  Yes the City of Omaha demolished it to get the whole block for them selves, said it was missing storm windows, all without even noticing me, then they took it by Eminent Domaine, not giving me a dime, except jail time.  Very efficient theft, I might add.  Gobermentizem at it’s best.

Feds join battle of wills with contrarian landlord

((The RED WORDS, OR (( words in parentheses )) below is the rest of the story, in Paul’s perspective.))  (To be written soon 5-27-09) Like a 3-year-old, for whom the word “no” has little relevance,Omaha land lord Paul J. Hansen flagrantly flouts the rules. Like a parent, the courts keep putting him in timeout.

But the battle of wills has stretched for years now, and there’s no sign that the “timeouts” including one for 60 days in jail handed down Friday in Douglas County Court are having any impact.

It had been a busy week in court for Hansen: Thursday, he was tracked down in a sixth-floor stairwell at the Douglas County Courthouse to be cited for code violations at five north Omaha properties and was arrested in the process. He was booked on suspicion of 15 counts of housing code violations, two counts of obstructing an officer and one count of giving false information, all misdemeanors, before posting bail.

In all, the jail time ordered in various cases now totals almost a year.

“It’s hard telling what his reaction is to hammers,” Getty said. “We’ve been hammering at him for four years now.”

Hansen’s properties remain unfixed until the city, at taxpayer expense, tears them down. Needy tenants continue to rent. And countless hours of public servants’ time in housing inspections and legal work is being spent in an effort to correct the behavior.

Hansen, who holds no law degree but represents himself in court, continues to file, appeal, sue and otherwise fight back.

He eludes city officials and reporters. The phone number he gave in his most recent court filing is a nonworking number.
((Apparently there was one document with ‘possibly the wrong number’, or they called when my cell phone was disconnected, besides the City never calls, they always communicate by letter.))

Still, city officials press on, heartened by a new case filed against Hansen in another venue: federal court. They hope this case, plus their own persistence and enough jail time and demolition orders, will force Hansen to give up his fight, fix up his properties or move.

“He’s playing the game,” said Kevin Denker, the city’s chief housing inspector. “We have to play the game, too.”

The new case involves an apartment house at 1314 S. 30th Ave.

Thick city files document property code violations dating back to April 2004 at the 30th Avenue building. The house, divided into six apartments, had problems ranging from a leaning chimney, rotting roof and rotted-out wooden staircase on the outside to deteriorated walls, windows and floors and unsanitary conditions on the inside.

Daniel Drews, a man with schizophrenia whose mental illness rendered him disabled in the eyes of the federal government, rented a basement apartment so fetid that his attorney likened pictures of it to the fictitious hellhole in “The Silence of the Lambs.”

((They forgot to mention that Drews was given the 1314 basement for storage and he lived in any apartment that was vacant at 1314 or any house that was vacant so that we could keep out vandals.  No one else would rent to this man because of his criminal past, so I took him in and treated him like a son.  When Dan moved out, that same day he stole several thousand dollars of tools and equipment from me, cut my car tire, cut my brake line, and cut a hole in my radiator.  Oh yes the prosecutor refused to prosecute him even though I had a witness that seen him do it.))

That was one of three Hansen-owned properties that Drews lived in between 2003 and March 2008. In her petition filed in U.S. District Court, attorney Kate Mahern claimed that Hansen violated federal and state fair housing laws by forcing a disabled man to live in dilapidated housing.

Mahern says Hansen rented properties to Drews in known physical deterioration: 1608 Corby St. and 1547 N. 19th St., both of which the city since has condemned and torn down; and the apartment house at 1314 S. 30th Ave., which is on the city’s condemnation list. (( a. Let us look again, 1608 was used by Dan before he started moving to watch various vacant houses of mine, but what good old World Herold forgot to mention was that the building had a fire started by a (believed) old electrical wire in the wall, nothing visible to the owner.  So after the fire it was vacated as a complete loss and then sold and the new owner apparently decided not to keep the land and the city demolished the structure months after I sold it.  Note the City had no code violations on that structure before the fire, it was a 4-plex that rented for $350.00/month utilities paid by the Paul.

(( Now 1547 was a very nice home, and the day that Dan moved out he stole a new wall mounted gas heater, took a hammer and put holes in most all the newly painted walls, and took buckets of urine and dumped them on the near new furniture (2 couches, and 2 chairs) that I allowed him to use for free.  Also the Omaha Weird Herald did not tell it’s readers that:  Hansen took the check from Dan to pay for Rent of $450 per month, which included utilities of gas, water, sewer, garbage pickup, and electricity and paid it also paid for gas only that Dan used while I let him use my vehicle to get to his minimal (alleged) work that he claimed he did weekly.  Also the readers are not told that Dan burned up one of my diesel pickups by fixing a radiator hose and then forgetting to put water back in the radiator.  Dan probably got high on the little money I gave him for antifreeze and forgot to put the water in.  The motor was completely fried before he stoped, then on top of it he fried the starter, then he put water in and tried to say that it was in all-along.  Dan is an incredible liar, almost worthless at all that he does.  I talked to his father, and he said that there is not a door in his and his wife’s house that does not have holes in it from Dan’s fists.     So I try to help him when even his own family has stopped, and look what I get, slandered and impoverished, thanks Dan.  God knows the whole story and this is a great comfort to me. ))

c. And as for 1314 he was to use the basement as storage and then live in any house I owned that was between renters. According to the suit: The first lease was an oral, month-to-month arrangement whereby Drews was to perform general maintenance on Hansen properties. A later written lease at the 19th Street address, which had been in violation of city housing codes since 2002, required Drews to pay $450 a month to rent “as is.” The
lease barred him from complaining to city housing code inspectors or seeking help from other government entities.

((The Lease was simply a private contract and was not a party to the corporate City of Omaha, the last I heard is that the government could not interfere with lawful private contracts.  Also the City told me that the house was fine after we put new siding and remodeled the interior.  Oh yes one more thing the CITY tore the house down without even sending me a letter that it was not in compliance, and again good old World Herald forgot to tell its readers that the CITY tore down most all the houses in that same block, yes the CITY wanted that land real bad, to the point of stealing it by force.))

Hansen got himself signed up as the payee for Drews’ monthly Social Security disability check of $607 to $637. Hansen “occasionally returned $40 to (Drew) upon which to subsist,” the suit says.

((Say what “got himself signed up”, no, rather Dan begged me to be his payee because he could not find not one of his friends or local family to trust (or rather trust him).
Now lets look at this, Dan could remove me from being payee any day out of the three years and he choose, each month, to trust me. But now if he wins his suit he can get all the money he claims I keep, why this is really a clever act of theft, and far from a retarded person, but rather a seasoned felon, which he (Dan) is.))

Hansen denies the allegations in court documents that he filed in the case.

In his written answer, Hansen identifies himself as “a Nebraska nationalist called Paul John: with the family name of Hansen.”
((Actually it is “Nebraska National” which is synonymous with “A Native Born Nebraska man”.  Read my site and you will learn the government schools are foremost designed to eventually convince people that individual states are not sovereign, that the Central Government has authority over the 50 States, that people can not live separate from legislative governance.  And as with the name, Paul John: family Hansen is a lawful calling (name), and Names such as listed on a STATE Operators License is a “Legal Name”, a “Statutory Person”.))

Though he long has lived in northeast Omaha, Hansen denies being a resident of Omaha or a resident of Nebraska and “is not a United State (sic) person.” He does, however, describe himself as “a private man on the Land of Nebraska” but says he does not have association with “the assumed United States Post Office appointed address” of the properties in question.

((Yes that is true, a Douglas County Court Judge told me that if I receive mail at my homes I am subject to the
CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, so now I go only with General Post- Office, and resident is a benefit of the corporate State, benefits subject you to the State.  SEE MY DECLARATION AT THE END OF THIS DOCUMENT AS TO “BEING DOMICILED”.))

He said that any arrangements with Drews were private and that he possesses “the subject Land and Shelter by private agreement . . . and as a liberty and as a right.”

Hansen denies the allegations of fair housing law abuses and says Drews is not entitled to damages.

The suit seeks compensatory and punitive damages that, Mahern said, could total in the tens of thousands of dollars. Not that she thinks her client would see that money any time soon if she prevailed.

“Years,” she said. “Could be years. . . .”

Mahern theorized that Hansen, while losing his wars, wins enough minor victories to keep him in the game.
((A Federal Judge told me off the record that I am right, that I can own and use land without government interference and taxes so long as I violate no other persons rights or liberties.  It is called a free country.  On free land a man can not be forced to support a public (government/socialist) school.”))

Let me tell you what the last day was like when Dan move out:
a.- All the ‘almost new’ furniture that was allowed to be used by Dan was urine soaked and dripping the day/hour Dan moved out. (2 couches and one love seat)
b.- Radiator punctured in my 16,000 pound loader equipment parked behind the house.
c.- Over $1000.00 tools stole out of my garage that Dan had no right of access to.
d.- Front tire knifed on my Land Rover, it was almost new ($100.00).
e.- Brake-line cut.
f.- Holes hammered into most every room in the house.
g.- Stole my new wall mounted furnace.
h.- House left filthy, dog urine and feces everywhere.
i. – Stole the/my two security cameras and monitors.

Landlord can’t talk way out of jail

Facing his second legal setback in a month, an Omaha landlord wearing orange jail scrubs and ankle cuffs stood before the judge Thursday and argued on his own behalf.

First, Paul John Hansen told Douglas County Judge Craig McDermott that he was native-born of the Land of Nebraska but was not a U.S. citizen nor a resident of Douglas County or the State of Nebraska.

(( I, Hansen, did this to make it crystal clear that I was not a legal entity, that I have done nothing to give the court an opportunity to force me before a bench trial and keep me from my right to a common-law trial by jury.  The legal bases of this defense will be explained latter.))

I challenge the court’s jurisdiction over me, said Hansen, who has a long history of run-ins with city housing inspectors over his more than a dozen properties.

Hansen is infamous at the courthouse for the extreme property-rights views he articulates in numerous court documents and before judges. Though not an attorney, he typically represents himself in court.

Hansen is currently in jail on a separate property-related conviction.

Last month, he lost a fair housing case in federal court. He has been ordered to pay nearly $84,000 in damages and attorney fees to one of his former tenants, a man with schizophrenia who lived in Hansen’s apartments for five years. Hansen got himself listed as payee for the tenant’s monthly Social Security disability check of $607 to $637. Hansen occasionally returned $40 to (the tenant) upon which to subsist,” the suit said.

((This man is a liar, he got all his money and had the opportunity to cancel me as his payee any day he wanted.  What a professional scam artist.  The paper failed to mention this same man spent years in jail for drug related crimes.  I was told that he needed a payee because of his drug addiction, which I personally witnessed   I was in jail during this trial, I asked to be released from jail so I could defend myself but was refused because “we (Jailers) do not release inmates for civil hearings.”  I understand that I can get this case vacated due to I have a right t defend/appear to any action that takes my property.))

On Thursday, he faced 18 misdemeanor counts, most of them housing code violations related to five north Omaha properties. Assistant City Prosecutor Marcela Keim said the violations presented a health and safety risk to the community.

Hansen argued that he’d been taken by force off the native land and could neither address the city’s outstanding complaints about properties nor adequately defend himself in court. He said the city was targeted him unfairly and putting good properties on the demolition list.

((I notice the Court that to force me to face an administrative court and denying me a common-law trial by jury was a violation of my right.))

Then he added this alleged injustice he felt he was unfairly punished by a law enforcement officer for not agreeing that his name was Paul Hansen. He calls himself Paul John of the family Hansen.

Are we in a police state?  he asked the judge.

McDermott let Hansen speak for more than 20 minutes and allowed him to present witnesses on his behalf. They included Devin Santo, a one-time political candidate in north Omaha, who said he didn’t know the full details but thought Hansen’s arguments were legally sound.

McDermott: Are you a lawyer?

Santo: No, sir.

A thick city prosecutor’s file detailed city code violations at five north Omaha properties: 2804 Ruggles St., 3212 Franklin St., 3202 Seward St., 3804 N. 19th St. and3213 N. 24th St.

Four code inspectors watching the sentencing could have added their own eyewitness accounts. Two talked quietly about additional citations planned.

These are for properties that are among 10 Hansen properties that the city is investigating. Douglas County records show that Hansen owns 15 properties.

The judge turned to Hansen and repeated a word Hansen had used “travesty” and said he disagreed. I think it’s just sad, McDermott said.

Then he sentenced Hansen to nearly a year in jail: 180 days for 14 different housing code violations, the sentences on each to be served concurrently; then another 180 days apiece for one count of giving false information, one count of resisting arrest and two counts of obstructing the administration of the law, the sentences also to be served concurrently.

Hansen is expected to appeal.

This declaration hereby establishes and distinguishes affiant as, at all times from as I being born, a freeholder in the American sense and as a nonresident of this state (STATE OF NEBRASKA) or any other (de facto) forum state with a body politic or corporate repugnant to the above.  Affiant’s free exercise of religious belief and accountability to the universal laws of nature and of nature’s god, as originally embodied upon the adoption of the Constitution, includes the natural sense of an inherent moral duty toward mankind.

This proclamation, duly of record within Douglas county, Nebraska state, establishes the status of affiant, and is conclusive evidence to any and all conditional presumptions by any and all quasi/constructive/implied consent(s) to any and all foreign jurisdictions in apposition to affiant’s asylum home state of domicile as secured by the supreme law of the land.
